Gettin’ away at Ray’s…
Do you ever feel like you need to get away? Even if it’s just for a short while and only a short distance away, a weekend trip can be just what you need for a little recharge. Last weekend my wife Jocey and I traveled to Cleveland, OH for a few nights where there just happened to be a huge indoor mountain bike park: Ray’s MTB Park. With 103,000 sqft of logs, ramps, drops, rollers, and every other imaginable contraption to ride a bike over, under or through, Ray’s is definitely hard to beat.
Most of the riding I do is typically at Alum Creek near Columbus, OH so when I
heard of an opportunity to demo a new location I knew I had to give it a whirl. The park is housed in an old factory and makes incredible use of the space available. Maneuvering around in such tight spaces you would think there would be plenty of collisions, but the layout allows traffic to be mostly one-way which helps to avoid those unnecessary injuries.
If you are ever in Ohio or surrounding states, make a trip to Ray’s MTB Park, you will not be disappointed.
Got a great place to ride? Feel free to tell about it in the comments section or send me a message through the contact page

Looks like some crazy fun. I remember the days of riding/skating out at the flow. I think they’ve actually moved a little closer to Columbus now. http://www.ridetheflow.com/
